Vauxhall Motors recently celebrated its outstanding achievement as Britain’s fourth highest ranked Top Employer for 2012, amongst 66 other organisations. The award, based on independent research conducted by the CRF Institute, showed that Vauxhall Motors offers its employees exceptional working conditions with particular emphasis on secondary benefits and company culture.

Our employees benefit from an attractive salary and benefits package and a culture where 'people engagement' – employee involvement with the company – is of major importance. Through various schemes, we are encouraging our employees to communicate and exchange ideas and thoughts at all levels and to be actively involved in generating positive change throughout the company. As an employer, Vauxhall demonstrates exceptional dedication to its workforce and the community where it operates, also offering excellent international career opportunities.

Eleanor Nickerson, Country Manager at Britain’s Top Employers says: “This year we’re proud to certify our strongest group of top employers to date. Increasingly, we’re seeing creative and intelligent human resources (HR) practices and employee offerings that ensure the working experience is positive, and that employee groups get what they want from their employment. We’re seeing a heavy emphasis on flexible benefits, on segmented employee offerings and on career development that ensures employee growth and good succession planning.”

Duncan Aldred, Chairman and Managing Director, congratulated the team saying: “Employee engagement is important in everything we do and I am proud to work amongst such a multi-skilled and involved workforce. Our HR team has done an excellent job creating a great workplace of choice and I am extremely pleased to see all our efforts rewarded with this high ranking Top Employer certification for 2012.”
