ADAM heralds bespoke motoring at mainstream prices


Vauxhall has announced pricing and full specification details for the new ADAM as part of its official debut at the Paris Motor Show.


Now available to order, prices range from £11,255 for the ADAM JAM, moving up to £12,650 for ADAM GLAM and £13,150 for ADAM SLAM. First cars will arrive in Vauxhall showrooms at the end of February 2013.


Personalisation is what the new urban-chic model is all about. With almost limitless trim and equipment combinations available, every one of the 6.5 million visitors to Paris’s world-renowned structure could specify an ADAM like no other.

The three-door, four-seater has three trims – JAM (fashionable and colourful), GLAM (elegant and sophisticated) and SLAM (racy and sporty) – 20 different wheel designs, over a dozen interior shades, and 12 different body colours, some of which are unique to ADAM. And with colour names like ‘Purple Fiction’, ‘I’ll be Black’ and ‘Men in Brown’, you’ll have no trouble remembering your final choice.

ADAM at the Paris Motor Show

Vauxhall/Opel’s Paris stand (Hall 5, Stand 501) gives show-goers the chance to design their own ADAM. Using visualizers, they can combine options like printed headliners, two-tone paint, glazed-roof applications, backlit fascia décors and coloured wheel appliqué.


There’s also the chance to sample ADAM’s premium technology, including the new IntelliLink on-board infotainment system which integrates your smartphone (Android and iOS) with the car, making Internet-based applications available on the fascia-mounted touch screen.
