Vauxhall has secured a deal to supply 60 of its award-winning Vivaro vans in a group-wide deal with Imtech UK Ltd, as part of an ongoing deal to supply more than 100 of its commercial vehicles.

The deal to provide over 100 of its commercial vehicles to one of the world’s leading technical service providers to the traffic and infrastructure market came about following a competitive tender exercise based on whole-life costs – and Vauxhall came out on top.

The 60 British-built L1 H1 Vivaro double cabs will be in Sportive trim and equipped with the Euro 5-compliant 2.0 CDTi 115PS engine. This will ensure impressive performance and fuel economy over the 30,000 miles they are expected to cover each year. The Vivaros have a ply-lined loading area and have been decked out with the company livery and a telematics system.

The vehicles form part of a group-wide deal between Imtech UK Ltd and its subsidiaries. The 60 vans will be mainly split across Imtech Engineering Services, Inviron and Imtech Traffic & Infra servicing engineers, and will join 20 Combos and a handful of Corsavan and Movano vehicles currently on the fleet.

Group Supply Chain Director at Imtech UK, Jim Goodhead, says: “We are always looking for new ways to lower the cost of our fleet while increasing the efficiency. We appointed ERA Fleet Cost Management to make this a reality by reviewing the current market. And, after an extensive tender process, Vauxhall was identified as the best option for the various service operations across the group.”

National Commercial Vehicle and B2B Sales Manager at Vauxhall, Richard Collier, says: “This group-wide deal will help the engineers at Imtech UK Ltd and its subsidiaries as they go about their daily business, due to the vans’ comfort, economy and reliability. We are also extremely proud that we have contributed towards Imtech realising its vision in reducing its overall fleet costs, while increasing its efficiency.
