Vauxhall has now supplied six Movanos to Essex-based Magnolia Building Services. The firm took delivery of four vans from Vauxhall Dealer, Tony Le Voi, earlier this year. Then following a boost in business, the company added two further Movanos, including a Movano Crew Cab Tipper.

Magnolia, which works with London Underground and other rail companies, is now enjoying lower running costs, thanks to the improved fuel economy and reduced maintenance needs of the Movano.

Clint Spearpoint, CEO of Magnolia, explained: “For the first eight years of our business, we ran a fleet of ageing vans, which we spent a lot of time and money running and maintaining. Now we have switched to Vauxhall, we no longer experience the mechanical downtime we used to, when our old vans were off the road for repairs.”

He added: “We also ordered company cars: two Astra Sports Tourer ecoFLEX diesels, which have been superb in cutting costs.”

Simon Dayes, Sales Director at Tony Le Voi, said: “We are delighted that Magnolia has taken on a fleet of Vauxhall commercial vehicles. We are confident the Movano vans will serve the company long into the future.”

Richard Collier, Vauxhall’s National Commercial Vehicle and B2B Manager, added: “We are enjoying great success with the Movano, and Magnolia’s experience of lower running costs, is one we see regularly.”
