Voyager Multi-Purpose Vehicles, a leading UK-based specialist vehicle converter, has ordered 50 Vauxhall Vivaro Combi models for use as taxis.

The company will convert all 50 vehicles into dedicated wheelchair-accessible taxis at its facility in Crewe, and all the Vivaro Combis will be made to the company’s bespoke specifications. The company has regularly converted Vauxhalls in the past and this latest order means that most of their conversions will be Vauxhalls.

The Brit-built Vivaro Combi models deliver generous space for passengers and luggage while providing a number of seat configurations across three rows. With seating for nine people and twin sliding side-access doors, it’s the ideal minibus and private hire vehicle.

“It’s always interesting to see what our customers do with our product and it looks like Voyager have done a great job with these Luton-built combis,” said Richard Collier, Vauxhall’s National Commercial Vehicle and B2B Sales Manager.
