Tax-efficient 99g/km 1.7-litre ecoFLEX Start/Stop engines are being added to Astra’s P11D-friendly ES hatchback range.
With diesel rates of 13% BiK taxation*1 as well as exemption from City of London Congestion Charge*2, Astra still leads the way. These 99g/km engines qualify for 100% WDA (first year), deliver 76.3mpg (Combined)*3 and are in the lower 13% band for employer Class 1A National Insurance.
Other changes for 2012 hatchback models include a new metallic paint option (Seashell) available on all models except Expression and Active/Active Limited Edition, and, like the Sports Tourer, models have the option of two Seat Comfort Packs. Pack 1 adds 4-way electrical adjustment of lumbar support and cushion tilt to the driver’s seat, and Pack 2 does the same for both front seats – also adding seat height adjustment for the passenger’s seat (standard on driver’s seat).
