At Vauxhall, we are doing everything in our power to make sure that the customer experience is a happy one. That’s why we’ve just launched our new Ampera Customer Charter. It ensures that, even before you get behind the wheel of an Ampera, you are looked after. The Charter promises:


  • An initial assessment (by phone) of your electrical charging situation; at home and work.
  • A comprehensive handover of your new car by an Ampera Sales Specialist.
  • An accompanied ‘test drive’ when your own Ampera is delivered, so you can become fully accustomed to your new car and make the most of its revolutionary technology.
  • A free collection and delivery service for all scheduled warranty, repair or servicing work for the first four years after registration.
  • A free home and work electrical assessment by a British Gas Engineer to provide advice on how to safely charge your new car (they will also advise on any extra work that may need carrying out, prior to delivery of your Ampera). NOTE: in most instances the 6 metre electric charging cable supplied with Ampera will be sufficient.


It’s a unique and extraordinarily comprehensive charter – in keeping with an extraordinary, award-winning car.
