COMBO GROWS IN STATURE – AND GIVES CREW A VIEW

Updates to the award-winning Combo (judged ‘Best Light Van 2013’ by What Van?, Vans A2Z and Van Fleet World) include both the addition of high roof (H2) variants of the long wheelbase (L2) panel van, and glazed versions of the Crew van range.

The introduction of the 2300 L2 H2 panel van has created a Light Van which offers outstanding economy, yet delivers a very useful 5.0 cu.m of carrying capacity – combined with a 1550mm (max.) load height. It effectively plugs the large gap between Ford’s Connect range (maximum 3.6 cu.m) and Custom range (minimum 6.0 cu.m).

Combo - Competitive CO2 and MPG

Combo punches above its weight with rivals in the Medium Van sector, being very competitive on price, delivering a useful increase in power over its nearest manual transmission rivals, and with both fuel economy and CO2 emissions being significantly better.

Combo’s front suspension has now been uprated on all L2 models, and is available as an extra-cost option (£50 exc. VAT) on 2300 L1 models. While the GVW does not increase, the option increases front axle rating from 1090kg to 1200kg, allowing more flexibility in payload positioning.

Combo crew vans provide a rear bench seat with a ’fold and tumble’ facility plus a 60/40 split-folding seat back and cushion to allow the choice between carrying up to three rear seat passengers or extra cargo.

These versatile vehicles can now be supplied as Glazed variants which feature (fixed) glass windows in each of the sliding side-access doors, plus a glazed tailgate in lieu of unglazed asymmetric rear doors. Glazed rear doors are available as an extra-cost option (£145 exc. VAT)2.
