Economical Benefits

One range: lots of ways to save

The Vauxhall ecoFLEX range offers considerable cost savings over the life of your car. Some Corsa ecoFLEX models and two Astra 1.7 CDTi Start Stop models emit less than 100g/km into the atmosphere. These models fall into Vehicle Excise Duty Band A, which means £0 road tax a year based on 2010/11 tax rates*. All Agila, Corsa, New Astra and Insignia & Meriva Start/Stop ecoFLEX engines have emission figures of 120g/km or less meaning you will receive £0 road tax for the first year of purchase and then, depending on which Tax Band your vehicle falls into, your road tax will be either £20 or £30 a year based on 2010/11 tax rates. The non Start/Stop Insignia and Zafira ecoFLEX engines fall into Vehicle Excise Duty Band E, which is only £110 a year road tax based on 2010/11 rates.

The cars within the ecoFLEX range have great fuel consumption; therefore they run very efficiently, so you'll save considerably on fuel costs.

Company Car Drivers

Even if you drive a company car, you'll save. That's because with CO2 figures of 120g/km or below, Agila, Corsa, Astra and Start/Stop models for Insignia and Meriva ecoFLEX models fall within the lowest diesel tax band of 13%, putting more money in your pocket. In fact, the petrol 1.0i 12v Agila ecoFLEX sits in the lowest petrol 10% BiK tax band**.

And now, our latest ultra low emission Zafira ecoFLEX models also reduce costs for you and the planet.

They achieve sub 134g/km of CO2 placing them both in the fourth-lowest 18% diesel Benefit in Kind tax band** for 2010/11 giving economy with no compromise.

Fleet Decision Makers

For Fleet Decision Makers, not only do our ecoFLEX models offer low emissions to lessen your environmental impact but the entire range also qualifies for the new Capital Allowance regime. This allows you to write down 20% of the car's cost, and offset 100% of your lease payments against taxable income.

For fleets wanting to make the most of the tax benefits available, the 100% first year allowance has been extended now until March 2013. Good news is with CO2 emissions of just 105g/km, our Corsa Life and Club 1.3CDTi 16v (75PS) 3dr ecoFLEX variants both qualify under the 110g/km threshold generating cash flow benefits for businesses.
