The new Vauxhall Meriva.

Embrace Life.

The New Vauxhall Meriva is a refreshing combination of expressive design and clever real-life innovations like FlexDoors®. They consist of rear doors with rear hinges on both sides that swing open toward the back of the car. The front and rear doors open independently of each other. The groundbreaking FlexDoors® provide not only greater functionality, but also a higher level of safety: Securing children in back seats is much easier. The New Vauxhall Meriva FlexDoors® reduces the risk of children stepping out into traffic. Experience it for yourself. Watch the video, see the FlexDoors® in action and hear what the designers Niels Loeb and Stefan Arndt have to say about the design of the New Vauxhall Meriva. When asked what he especially likes about the new Meriva, he answered: “The flowing surfaces and the overall harmony inside and out and yet it’s super practical and gives unconventional spins to the typical questions.” Flowing surfaces and unconventional spin: spoken like the experienced sailor he is. Stefan has a degree in Industrial Design from the University of Arts in Berlin, where he rekindled his love of sketching. He has an impressive range of design projects at Vauxhall which include: Insignia, Zafira and Omega as well as the concept cars: Zafira Snowtrekker, Eco Speedster Record car, Frogster, Vauxhall Lightning and Trixx.
