“Happy Birthday To Q” Giveaway T&Cs

By taking part in the competition, entrants are deemed to have read, understood and accepted all of the terms and conditions and agreed to be bound by them.

 

Prizes

  • There is one (1) main prize in total to be given away & six (6) weekly prizes.
  • The main prize consists of one Yu Card Visa Prepaid Card pre-loaded with £500 inc. VAT. There is one prize in total and one winner.
  • The Yu Card Visa®Prepaid Card is issued by Catella Bank S.A. Catella Bank is a Bank regulated and authorised by the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (the “CSSF”) in Luxembourg and is permitted to issue e-money. RêvEurope Payments Limited (REV) administers and services the card on their behalf.
  • The weekly prizes consist of one celebration cake & one bottle of champagne. Two will be given away each week – one on Twitter, one on Facebook.
  • The prize is set purely at the discretion of the promoter, no substitutions will be made and no correspondence will be entered into.
  • The prizes are subject to availability and Network Q reserves the right to substitute a prize for an alternative of equal or greater value. There is no cash or other alternative to the prize in whole or in part and prize is not transferable.
  • The prizes will be dispatched on 28/11/14 to the delivery address provided by the winner.

 

How to Participate

Twitter

  • Users must follow the Network Q Twitter account (@VauxNetworkQ) to be eligible to enter the promotion.
  • In week one, to participate in the giveaway, users must ReTweet the following message “@VauxNetworkQ: So for your chance to #win a cake & a bottle of champers, just follow @VauxNetworkQ and RT this message #HappyBirthdayToQ”
  • In week two, to participate in the giveaway, users must respond to the following Tweet: “For your chance to #win some cake & champers, finish this sentence “The 3 celebrities I’d invite to my dream party are…” #HappyBirthdaytoQ”
  • In week three, to participate in the giveaway, users must post a picture of them wish NetworkQ a happy birthday. The post must include the #HappyBirthdayToQ hashtag

 

Facebook

  • In week one, to participate in the giveaway, users must Like and Comment on the following Post: “It’s our birthday & we’ve got a cake & a bottle of champagne to give away! So for your chance to win simply Like this post & tell us, in the Comments, below: How old is Network Q this year?“
  • In week two, to participate in the giveaway, users must comment on the following Post: “It’s week two of our month long #HappyBirthdayToQ giveaway. For your chance to #win some cake & champers, finish this sentence “The 3 celebrities I’d invite to my dream party are…” #HappyBirthdaytoQ”
  • In week three, to participate in the giveaway, users must post a picture of them wish NetworkQ a happy birthday to our Facebook Wall. The post must include the #HappyBirthdayToQ hashtag.
  • No purchase necessary to enter. Network Q cannot guarantee uninterrupted or secure access to the web entry route and accepts no responsibility for non-receipt or late receipt of entries due to technical difficulties. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt.
  • The promotion opens at 0930 GMT on 06/10/14 and closes at 2000 GMT on 26/10/14.
  • An individual may submit one entry per channel (Twitter & Facebook) for the duration of the promotion. Subsequent entries will be disregarded.

 

Winner Selection

  • One winner will be selected by way of a random number generator at 1600 GMT on 03/11/14 from all valid entries received until that point. The winner will be notified by direct message on Twitter by 1100 GMT on 04/11/14.
  • All valid and complete entries are eligible to be chosen as a winner.
  • The winner will be required to send a direct message to the Network Q Twitter account to claim their prize within 96 hours of notification being sent. If the winner does not claim their prize, Network Q reserves the right to withdraw the prize. A new winner will not be selected.
  • Details of the winner (name and country) will be made available on request to those emailing socialmedia@cogent.co.uk, and may be announced on Network Q website and social channels.

 

Restrictions and Limitations

  • The promotion is open to UK residents aged 18 or over. Employees of Network Q, its associated companies, and their immediate families are not eligible to enter the promotion.
  • Entrants who do not give correct details or those who make an entry on someone else’s behalf will be disqualified, at the discretion of Network Q. No entries from agents, third parties, organised group, entries automatically generated by computer or bulk entries will be accepted.
  • By submitting an entry to the promotion participants agree that Network Q has the absolute right to use content within that entry in whole or in part, or distorted in character or form, in conjunction with the participant’s own name for advertising, publicity, trade or any other lawful purpose whatsoever, in any media, including, but not limited to the Network Q website and social channels.
  • Network Q is not responsible for any third party acts or omissions.
  • If Network Q reasonably believes that any claim is being made unlawfully or illegally they may reject or cancel any claim and you agree that you will have no claim against Network Q in respect of any rejection or cancellation. Network Q reserves the right to take any further action it deems appropriate in such instances.
  • Network Q reserves the right at its sole discretion to eliminate or disqualify any entries or entrants it regards as being in breach of these conditions or the spirit of the promotion.

  • The promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Twitter. Twitter is not responsible to entrants in respect of any aspect of this promotion. Entrants understand that they are providing their information to Network Q and its affiliates, and not to Twitter.
