The Sureguard Warranty protects you against the cost of mechanical and electrical failures and includes all the benefits of Sureguard Assistance as well as Sureguard MOT Warranty.
It is available for year four (from date of first registration) or for years four and five, with mileage restrictions for both year four (60,000 miles) and years four and five (80,000 miles). Sureguard Warranty, together with a full service history, will help your vehicle command a good resale value when you're ready to trade in. You also have the option of transferring any unexpired period of warranty to a new private owner - completely free of charge.
All we ask is that your vehicle is always maintained in good condition, by a Vauxhall dealer in full accordance with the service recommendations of General Motors UK Limited. In return, you will have the added reassurance that all service and repair work is carried out by Vauxhall-trained technicians using only Vauxhall approved parts.
There are thousands of individual parts fitted to your Vauxhall and virtually every one of them is covered for mechanical or electrical failure by the standard three-year/60,000 mile warranty that comes with every new Vauxhall (100,000 miles on Movano and Vivaro). Extend this level of cover into year four or years four and five with Sureguard Warranty, and you'll find that should any of the covered parts fail or wear prematurely during the warranty period, you'll be covered for the full cost of repair or replacement (including parts and labour). All of the mechanical and electrical components of your vehicle are covered by Sureguard Warranty, with the following few exceptions:
Frictional material, if the condition is due to wear and tear.
The cleaning of fuel lines, filters, injection systems, pumps and resulting damage to covered components from use of incorrect or contaminated fuel.
Any in-car entertainment units which were not part of your vehicle's original specification, aerials (including amplifiers) of all types and telephones and associated equipment of all types.
Any gradual reduction in operating performance (wear and tear) due to the age and mileage covered by your vehicle. All bodywork, including handles and hinges, brightwork, glass, paint, trim, weatherstrips, seals, sheet metal, sun roof panels, seat belts, wiper blades, wheels and tyres. Service items, including, but not limited to, oil filters, lubricants, spark plugs, antifreeze and other fluids. Any items which were not part of Vauxhall's original specification of the vehicle. Batteries, bulbs, damage caused by water ingress, exhaust systems (catalytic converters are covered against mechanical failure), auxiliary drive belts, rotor arms, condensers, pipes, brackets, mountings and hoses (of any type).
There is no limit to the amount of any individual claim, but the total value of claims you make during the period of your cover (excluding VAT) must not exceed the price you paid for your vehicle.
