First step is to choose the type of Vauxhall you're interested in.

Once you've chosen a car model, you'll be asked to select a body style and trim. Or if you'd prefer to choose your engine first, feel free to do so by clicking the link "choose your engine size first" The price of the car you're building will appear on the left side of the screen, in a panel titled "Your Vehicle Summary".

Then you can click back to go back to the previous step, or click next to move on to the next step. Clicking save will take you to the My Vauxhall section of the site, where you can save the car you are building (or sign up if you aren't already a member).

Here, you can select the type of engine that interests you. Once you've selected an engine, you can then select the type of transmission that engine is available in. You'll also notice prices appear in the "Your Vehicle Summary" panel.

The depicted car will change as you select colour, wheel and interior options. You'll also notice the figures in the "Your Vehicle Summary" panel change accordingly.

Adding optional extras will also have an impact on the final price as seen in the "Your Vehicle Summary" panel. As you select and deselect these options, you can see how it will impact your budget.

If you're not entirely sure of what the listed accessory is, then click on it and you'll see a short description. Just as in previous steps, adding accessories will change the price as stated in the "Your Vehicle Summary" panel on the left.
