The Vauxhall UK Beatbox Championships showcase the very best of UK beatbox talent. Each year, aspiring beatbox stars compete to become UK champion and drive away with the star prize – a slick New Corsa SXi.
Bristol heat highlights
Since 2007, Vauxhall has been the proud sponsor of the Championships and of beatboxing – the art of producing drum beats, rhythm and musical sounds using one's mouth, lips, tongue, voice, nasal passage and throat.
Regional heats are hotly contested from February to June in London, Bristol, Nottingham and Liverpool, where beatboxing hopefuls attempt to impress crowd and judges to win a coveted place in June’s grand final. Finalists then gear themselves up for an 800-strong audience and judging panel at the O2 Academy Islington, London.
