The Insignia Sports Tourer brings you superb technology and connectivity, that will enhance every aspect of your driving experience. Find out more about Sports Tourer’s outstanding infotainment and technology innovations.
Enjoy easy-to-read displays that give you the information you need in a way you can understand and control. The Human Machine Interface (HMI) of the Insignia Sports Tourer provides sat-nav information, application menus, and audio and video playback via touch-screen, voice command and optional steering-mounted controls.
Our most sophisticated infotainment system ever. Insignia models feature improved infotainment systems as standard right across the range, with Bluetooth and digital radio on each and every model. IntelliLink technology communicates with your phone, displays vehicle applications on the centrally mounted touch-screen, offering video playback and audio streaming via Bluetooth-enabled devices.
Optional Navi 900 IntelliLink units connect effortlessly to your preferred choice of digital media. Using the 8-inch colour touch-screen, it’s easy to contact clients and colleagues, friends and family – and access all the information you need, on demand. It’s also possible to re-configure the optional displays with a choice of 60 personal favourites. That’s everything from your favourite bands to your most listened-to radio stations.
There’s also an optional BOSE sound system.
Adaptive Forward Lighting, optional with the Insignia Sports Tourer, enhances visibility on bends, making night-driving significantly safer. Bi-xenon headlights automatically adjust to different conditions, ensuring safer and more relaxed driving, while adaptive light functions improve road illumination by up to 90 per cent versus fixed headlamps.
Vauxhall Eye is a camera system with multiple functions. It reads and remembers speed limits and other road signs and symbols, and displays them. It also provides advance warning of unintentional departure from your lane, constantly indicates your distance to the vehicle ahead and alerts you if a collision is imminent.
A radar sensor maintains your cruise speed and chosen gap from the car in front, using your throttle and brakes. If you approach too fast, the system triggers visual and audible warnings and applies the brakes – when your Insignia is fitted with automatic transmission – bringing you to a total stop, if necessary.
Your eyes can’t be everywhere, so the Insignia has radar-based Side Blind-Zone Alert. This monitors the crucial 3.5 to 5-metre blind spot that you don’t see in your side mirrors. When it senses danger, an LED symbol lights up in the relevant outside mirror.
If you ever need to reverse into traffic, you’ll know how useful the Rear Cross-Traffic Alert can be. It uses radar to pick up vehicles you can’t see when backing out, up to a distance of 20 metres, and then shows a warning signal on your rear-view camera display screen, along with a warning sound.
Traffic quickly approaching from the rear is a hazard in any situation, but is especially dangerous when you’re pulling out to overtake. Radar with a range of approximately 70 metres warns you via the Lane Change Alert (LCA) of rapidly approaching vehicles in parallel lanes.
