The Vauxhall Mokka packs the rugged style of an SUV into a compact package. Its lines are muscular and athletic, and the short overhangs and rounded wheel-arches announce this vehicle’s attitude. In short, Mokka looks smooth, aerodynamic and ready for anything.
Nothing turns heads like an impressive set of wheels. Mokka has that covered. In fact, alloy wheels come as standard on all Mokka trims, with sizes ranging from 17 to 19 inches.
Aerodynamic efficiency is increased by the Mokka’s stylish front lower air-dam, whose aero-friendly radiator grille optimises airflow in the engine compartment. Meanwhile, under the car, air deflectors in front of the rear wheels, and aero blades behind them, clean up the airflow.
The Mokka’s interior is all about quality, comfort and airy, welcoming space. Supportive high-mounted seats, comfortably-placed controls and a premium trim all add to the sense of roominess. Quality trim materials, smooth metallic detailing and chrome instrument rings add to the classic feel.
Add smart interior colour choices and premium materials, and you have a winning combination that’s every bit as individual as the car itself.
For long-distance comfort, Mokka’s front seats adjust to suit your posture by letting you fine-tune the lumbar adjustment and extend the seat cushion, giving your upper body and legs more support. These seats have won the coveted AGR* seal of approval for helping to prevent back pain and tension. Standard on SE models.
The Mokka’s advanced ergonomics make this compact SUV supremely comfortable. It’s also spacious, with up to 19 storage compartments built-in to free up space. For even more room, you can fold the 60/40 seats – just one of the storage features that makes the Mokka perfect for long journeys.
All models feature Electronic Climate Control as standard (a bonus, whatever the weather), while the Mokka’s dualzone settings mean you can set a different temperature for each side of the car. How cool is that?
Mokka drivers can select from a range of powerful yet efficient engines. From the highly flexible 115PS 1.6-litre and 140PS 1.4-litre turbo petrol units to the 130PS 1.7CDTi turbo diesel** and new fuel-efficient 1.6-litre turbo diesel unit producing 136PS. Automatic front-wheel drive variants of the 1.4 petrol and both the 1.6 and 1.7 diesel are available.
Standard on all manual transmissions, the start/stop system saves fuel and lowers emissions. It stops the engine when the car comes to a standstill with the transmission in neutral, and starts it again instantly as soon as you press down the clutch pedal. (You can deactivate this system via a button on the instrument panel.)
All petrol engines and the new 1.6CDTi comply with the rigorous Euro 6 emissions standard. So, if performance, responsiveness, low emissions and affordability are high on your agenda, the Mokka has an engine that’ll put a smile on your face.
Controlled by speed, steering input, and electronics, the Mokka’s advanced Adaptive Forward Lighting (AFL+) system automatically selects from nine different headlight patterns, each designed to provide optimum illumination without dazzling other drivers.
This optional system gives you a clear view of the area behind the car on the colour infotainment screen. Working in conjunction with the rear parking distance sensors, you’ll quickly experience just how easy it becomes to reverse the car safely.
Hill start assist (HSA) will stop you rolling back unintentionally on steep hills, by automatically keeping the brakes engaged for a further two seconds once released on an incline. The brakes then release as soon as the vehicle begins to accelerate.
With the intelligent four-wheel drive system, you’ll enjoy increased driving stability and improved handling in all conditions. The Mokka’s sensors monitor a range of conditions, including steering angle and the relative speed of the wheels. A sophisticated torque-transfer device then automatically distributes drive between the front and rear wheels for optimum traction and safety.
Take your Mokka 4x4 off-road, and you can use the descent-control system to safely control your speed on extreme downhill gradients, without having to brake.
The CD 450 audio unit features digital radio as standard. This means digital quality sound and more stations, easier to find by name, with improved track display info on certain stations. Together with a CD player, it also features 20 watts per channel output with six speakers and a graphic information display, plus an aux-in socket for external portable music players. Enjoy beautiful, rich sounds.
The Navi 950 IntelliLink is a satellite navigation system that features a seven-inch colour display with bird’s-eye view in 3D and steering wheel control. The navigation software for more than 30 European countries and a comprehensive travel guide with pictures is stored in the internal memory for fast access. Navigation can be started via voice control. The Navi 950 IntelliLink is standard on Tech Line models and optional on Exclusiv, SE and Limited Edition.
All Mokka audio units feature a USB interface allowing you to hook up most MP3 players, smartphones or USB sticks to your Mokka’s infotainment system and access music, podcasts and other files via the steering-wheel remote controls. And with Bluetooth® technology you get hands-free operation of most mobile phones.
