In any business climate, arriving in good shape with everything in order is vital. A high level of active and passive safety has been designed for the Vauxhall Movano as well as intelligent security for both the cabin and load area.
ESP-plus
Standard on rear-wheel drive (RWD) models. Optional on front-wheel drive (FWD) models, available from late 2010.
Passenger airbag deactivation
The Movano features three-point seatbelts for the whole crew. The driver airbag is standard. A front passenger airbag with switch-operated deactivation and side airbags are available as an option.
Parking distance sensors
Parking distance sensors give an audible warning to avoid accidental damage when reversing.
Deadlocks
In areas where there is a high likelihood of vehicle or load theft, the extra security of deadlocking gives extra peace of mind. Standard on all models, excluding ecoFLEX, the deadlocks prevent the cabin doors being opened without a key by mechanically locking the buttons on the door trim.
Three-button key
The key enables both front doors, or the rear and side doors, or all doors to be locked or unlocked independently. It is standard on panel vans.
Button 1: one push unlocks both cabin doors; two pushes unlocks all doors
Button 2 (open tailgate): one push unlocks side and rear doors
Button 3: one push locks all doors.
Alarm system
The remote controlled anti-theft alarm uses volumetric movement sensors to protect the whole vehicle (engine compartment, cabin and load compartment) against intrusion.
