COMMERCIAL FINANCE BUSINESS PARTNER - BEDFORDSHIRE

What you can expect

 

As an experienced Commercial Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for key Sales Channels within the Commercial Finance team and drive the channel performance. Acting as the Business Partner, this role will work closely with the relevant Sales Channel Manager and their team therefore an ability to influence non-Finance people is critical. There is also a strong involvement in tactical and strategic development to increase profitability of the business, while maintaining volume and market share in the UK.

 

Key responsibilities are below:

·         Provide financial support/analysis and be the focal point of contact for the relevant commercial teams

·         To review and analyse all commercial matters between Vauxhall and end customers

·         Co-ordinate and perform individual profitability and pricing analysis by customer to ensure financial optimisation

·         Approval of relevant sales proposals

·         Submission and liaise with European HQ in respect of contracts that are outside local delegation of authority

·         Prepare ad hoc analysis and support budget preparation

·         Develop and manage KPIs for responsible channels and drive business performance

·         Manage the month end accounting process including reconciliations

·         Ensure all accounting is in line with local fiscal requirements and company policies and assure timely month-end closing results

·         Participation in any internal audit or SOX control related activities in the responsible areas

 

 

What we expect

·           Qualified or taking CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualifications. Finalist can be considered.

·           Highly numerate, analytical skills and high standard of accuracy

·           Advanced Microsoft Excel.

·           SAP knowledge (desirable)

·           Broad knowledge of P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash flow

·           Experience in commercial finance and business partnering within a fast pace environment.

·           Strong communication and influencing skills – verbal and written with ability to negotiate and build relationships

·           Effective presentation skills with comfort around senior management

·           Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects alongside regular deadlines

·           Proactive and able to work on own initiative adopting continuous improvement mentality

FIXED TERM PRODUCTION OPERATOR - IBC VEHICLES    

To support the requirement for increased build Vauxhall Motors, IBC plant are now recruiting 23-month fixed term production positions across all main production units.

The job role you have applied is within the Luton Plant Manufacturing facility, therefore, you will be within a factory environment.

 

The role will require you to perform repetitive tasks on the production line to a high-quality standard by following verbal and written instruction. You will be expected to follow standardised work to a high level with minimal mistakes ensuring you follow all safety procedures.

Salary: £10.07 an hour (based on a 30 hour work week).

UK ENVIRONMENTAL LEAD  - ELLESMERE PORT 

What you can expect:

This UK Environmental Lead will support the company in achieving its environmental commitments. Responsibilities include maintaining our 2 Plant’s ISO 14001 certification, complying with all applicable environmental legislation and permit conditions, ensuring conformance with corporate environmental performance criteria and managing the day-to-day activities of the environmental team. 

 

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Ensure the Plant complies with all applicable environmental legislation and corporate requirements, including the development and maintenance of environmental monitoring and reporting programmes, in line with the Plant’s environmental permits
  • Support the Plant’s Environmental Management System (EMS) to maintain ISO 14001 certification
  • Lead and conduct audits to evaluate compliance with applicable requirements, including corporate environmental performance criteria and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Manage the development and implementation of key environmental procedures and programmes
  • Liaise with business units and staff at all levels and provide technical support and advice

 

What we expect:

A successful UK Environmental Lead should have the following competencies and experience:

  • Degree level in a relevant environmental or technical subject
  • Experience  working in an environmental management role within a large, diverse operation with multiple environmental issues
  • Strong organisational, planning and time management skills, able to advise multiple projects simultaneously without compromising on standards and quality
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and diplomacy skills
  • Ability to work independently, make decisions and solve problems with minimal oversight
  • Strong analytical capabilities
  • Knowledge of current environmental regulations impacting manufacturing
  • Experience of implementing, maintaining and auditing environmental management systems in line with the requirements of ISO 14001
  • Membership of an Environmental professional body (IEMA, CIWM or equivalent)
  • A good working knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes

Under the Purchasing Undergraduate scheme, you will be deployed to a specific role within the Purchasing team where your focus can vary from preparing and supporting activities, sourcing parts to negotiating with suppliers, presenting findings by face-to-face presentations or telephone conferences whilst actively seeking cost saving opportunities.

 

What are we looking for?

A successful candidate for this role should have the following:

 

-         On track to achieve a 2.1 degree or above in a relevant Business or Management studies

-         Computer literate – knowledge of Microsoft Excel to a high level, specifically spreadsheets

-         Willingness to travel, both in the UK and abroad

AFTERSALES ROLES - COVENTRY

The Aftersales department is responsible for over half of Vauxhall's operating profit. This is achieved by selling Vauxhall genuine parts and accessories through various channels within the Vauxhall network. These channels include: Trade sales, parts sales through the service departments, and accident repairs through our network of approved body shops. To support these channels, we promote several marketing campaigns and programmes which are designed to create and maintain customer retention and customer satisfaction.

 

Under the Aftersales Undergraduate scheme, you will be deployed to a specific role within the Aftersales team where your focus can vary from fulfilling retailer orders, answering retailer and supplier queries, maintaining close relationships with the field team, order tracking, maintaining of the CRM system for dealer success, populating different reports to give to the Aftersales Exec team budget tracking, literature stock control to Supplier Quarterly Review arrangement.
