Vauxhall has joined forces with the Automobile Association (AA) to bring you Vauxhall Assistance.
Vauxhall Assistance automatically covers all passenger cars, Astravan, Corsavan and Combo. The benefits are available for twelve months, free of charge, starting from the initial registration of your vehicle.
Vauxhall Assistance is vehicle-based, so it covers anyone driving your Vauxhall with your permission. All new Vauxhalls are automatically covered for the duration of your standard first-year warranty period, starting from your vehicle’s original registration date.
If you sell your vehicle within the period of cover, the new owner can take advantage of any unexpired free Vauxhall Assistance cover, which will apply until the vehicle’s first-year warranty expires.
If your vehicle breaks down at the roadside and is immobilised, we’ll send out an AA patrol or appointed agent to get you back on the road. If an ’on-the-spot’ repair proves impossible and your vehicle can’t be repaired locally in a reasonable time, you can call on the Recovery service described below.
While Vauxhall Assistance aims to bring you peace-of-mind motoring, it only covers manufacturer-based or mechanical faults on your vehicle.
If your vehicle breaks down at home, Home Service will bring help to your doorstep. If your vehicle can’t be repaired, the AA will transport your vehicle to the nearest Vauxhall Authorised Repairer or another destination of your choice.
If a prompt local repair at the roadside isn’t possible, we’ll arrange onward passage for you: up to seven passengers and your vehicle to any single mainland UK destination. If you’re towing a caravan or trailer, this can also be recovered (subject to certain weight and size restrictions).
When your vehicle is immobilised, Vauxhall Assistance provides extra benefits immediately after recovery, by giving you a choice of ways to continue your journey. Simply choose the option that suits you, while we take your vehicle to a Vauxhall Authorised Repairer.
