The Prize Facilitators
(1) Vauxhall Motors Limited incorporated and registered in England and Wales with company number 00135767 whose registered office is at Pinley House, 2 Sunbeam Way, Coventry, West Midlands, CV3 1ND (“Vauxhall” or the “Promoter”).
(2) Merlin Attractions Operations Limited incorporated and registered in England and Wales with company number 06272935 whose registered office is at Arbor Building, 16th Floor, 255 Blackfriars Road, London, England, SE1 9AX, trading as the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort, Winkfield Road, Windsor SL4 4AY for the purposes of this promotion (“LEGOLAND”).
The Prize
1. The Vauxhall Grandland LEGOLAND prize draw (the “Prize Draw”) consists of:
· a 7-day loan of a Vauxhall Grandland Electric facilitated by Vauxhall (the “Vehicle Loan”); and
· entry tickets and accommodation to LEGOLAND Windsor Resort facilitated by LEGOLAND (the “LEGOLAND Experience”) (together, the “Prize”).
2. The Vehicle Loan and LEGOLAND Experience are a combined prize package and must be redeemed together within the same seven (7) day period. For avoidance of doubt, the Vehicle Loan and LEGOLAND Experience cannot be separated or taken on different dates.
3. The Prize must be redeemed by 31 December 2025. The Prize is not valid for use during August 2025.
4. The Prize does not include any additional expenses beyond those explicitly stated in these terms. This includes, but is not limited to, spending money, insurance, travel/transportation, food, beverages, souvenirs, gratuities, car parking charges, excess baggage, additional excursions and attractions or any other costs of a personal nature. Neither Vauxhall or LEGOLAND nor any third-party provider involved in the facilitation of the Prize will be responsible for any such costs.
5. The Prize is subject to LEGOLAND Windsor terms and conditions, which can be found at https://www.vauxhall.co.uk/discover/legoland-competition.html. In the event of any conflict between LEGOLAND Windsor terms and conditions and these terms and conditions, these terms and conditions will prevail.
6. The Winner's contact details will only be used to ensure that the Prize can be received.
7. This Prize Draw will appear on https://www.vauxhall.co.uk/discover/legoland-competition.html and will be promoted on social media by Vauxhall and LEGOLAND.
Terms and Conditions for the Vehicle Loan
8. The Vehicle Loan must be scheduled to begin and end on a Friday for a seven (7) day period.
· The Vehicle Loan includes the loan of a new Vauxhall Grandland Electric vehicle (the “Vehicle”).
· The dates of the Vehicle Loan will be determined by Vauxhall with agreement from the winner of the Prize Draw (the “Winner”) at the time of notification. The Vehicle Loan must align with the dates of the LEGOLAND Experience.
· Vauxhall will deliver the Vehicle to a location agreed between Vauxhall and the Winner with 75% electric charge. Vauxhall will collect the Vehicle from the same location, and the Vehicle must be returned with at least 50% electric charge.
· All charging costs during the loan period (other than the charging provided at LEGOLAND Windsor Resort), will be at the Winner’s own cost.
· The Winner must be at least 18 years old at the time of entry into the Prize Draw, hold a full UK driving license with no more than 6 points on the license, and have no driving convictions. To validate eligibility, the Winner must provide a copy of their driving license and a DVLA check code to Vauxhall.
· Once eligibility has been verified, the Winner will be placed on Vauxhall’s third-party insurance policy for the duration of the loan.
· Only authorized drivers are allowed to drive the Vehicle, with a maximum of two (2) drivers. All drivers must meet the eligibility criteria outlined above at Clause 8 of these terms and conditions.
Terms and Conditions for the LEGOLAND Experience
9. The LEGOLAND Experience includes:
· entry tickets for four (4) people (two (2) adults of at least 18 years old and two (2) children between the ages of 0 to 17) into LEGOLAND Windsor Resort;
· fast-track wristbands for four (4) people
· free priority parking at the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort;
· free EV charging at the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort; and
· One (1) night accommodation at the 4* LEGOLAND Windsor Resort Hotel, in one (1) room, which includes free WiFi and breakfast for all four (4) people
10. The LEGOLAND Windsor Resort reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, to refuse entry and to close and/or alter all or any part of the facilities including closure of rides and/or attractions for technical, operational, health and safety or other reasons including overcapacity. Size, height, weight, age restrictions and medical warnings apply to certain rides and attractions. Visitors under 12 years must be accompanied by a person at least 18 years old at the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort.
How to Enter
11. The Prize Draw will run from 09:00 on 13 August 2025 (the "Opening Date") to 23:59 on 24 August 2025 (the "Closing Date") inclusive.
12. No purchase is necessary to enter the Prize Draw. To be eligible, participants must:
· complete the entry form, available at:
https://www.vauxhall.co.uk/discover/legoland-competition.html;
· submit only one entry per person;
· be at least 18 years old at the time of entry age;
· be a UK resident, excluding Northern Ireland and Channel Islands;
· not be employees of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies, or members of the employee’s immediate families or households; and
not be employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the Prize Draw or its administration, or members of the employee’s immediate families or households.
13. The Promoter will not accept responsibility for Prize Draw entries that are not recorded due to equipment or submission failure.
14. By submitting a Prize Draw entry, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
The Winner
15. The Winner will be selected at random electronically within two (2) working days of the Closing Date.
16. Vauxhall will contact the Winner by the contact details provided on the entry form within seven (7) working days of the Closing Date.
17. Vauxhall and/or LEGOLAND reserve the right to replace the Prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond their control makes it necessary to do so.
18. Following notification of the Prize, the Winner will be asked if they consent to the use of their name and/or photograph by Vauxhall and LEGOLAND for promotional purposes, on social media and in other PR activity. Consent is optional and can be withdrawn at any time by writing to the Prize Facilitators. Declining or withdrawing consent will not affect the awarding of the Prize.
Claiming the Prize
19. The Winner of the Prize will have ten (10) working days from notification by Vauxhall (the “Announcement Date”) to claim the Prize. To do so, the Winner must complete the following mandatory steps:
· provide a copy of their full UK driving license together with a DVLA code check for verification by Vauxhall;
· confirm in writing (email being sufficient) that they are in no way associated or affiliated with Vauxhall or LEGOLAND;
· complete a drivers vehicle loan form, acknowledging and accepting the terms, rules and responsibilities of the loan period; and
· submit three preferred dates for the seven (7) day Vehicle Loan, which must align with the planned visit to LEGOLAND Windsor Resort (the “Mandatory Steps”).
20. If the Winner does not complete the Mandatory Steps within ten (10) working days, Vauxhall reserves the right to draw a new Winner.
21. Vauxhall will make all reasonable efforts to contact the Winner. If the Winner cannot be contacted by email within ten (10) working days, Vauxhall reserves the right to offer the Prize draw a new Winner.
22. Vauxhall and LEGOLAND do not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the Prize. There is no Prize alternative.
Limitation of liability
23. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the Winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the Prize except where such liability cannot be excluded by law or from negligence by the Promoter, its agents or distributors, or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
Data protection and publicity
24. LEGOLAND will only process your personal information to facilitate the distribution of the Prize. LEGOLAND’s privacy policy can be found at: https://www.legoland.co.uk/security-privacy-legal/terms-conditions/park/.
25. Your data will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), and in accordance with Stellantis Europe S.p.A’s privacy policy, a copy which can be found at the Promoter’s privacy policy at:
https://www.vauxhall.co.uk/tools/privacy-policy.html . The administration of the Prize Draw constitutes a service as defined in the privacy policy. To administer the Prize Draw, the Promoter will collect and process essential information including your name, address and contact details. The Winner’s details will be shared with a third party solely for the purpose of administrating the Prize. The third party will handle your data securely and in compliance with applicable data protection laws.
General
26. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, Vauxhall and LEGOLAND may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the Prize Draw.
27. Vauxhall and LEGOLAND reserve the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the Prize or Prize Draw where it becomes necessary to do so.
28. These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
