Vauxhall has been keeping Britain on the move since 1903 – making us the country’s oldest automotive brand. We are also one of the biggest, employing around 35,000 people, including over 100 graduates and 74 apprentices.
Our forward-thinking philosophy and drive for excellence has resulted in a long line of innovative vehicles. The Ampera won European Car of the Year 2012. Our newest launches include the ADAM, our personalisable city car, and the Cascada, the exciting convertible.
For over a decade we’ve been the UK’s favourite commercial vehicles manufacturer. Our Luton plant has produced a van that has won ‘Best Medium Van’ an incredible seven times. In Ellesmere Port we produce the sixth generation Astra five-door hatchback, the new Astra Sports Tourer and will be producing the next generation Vivaro.
Vauxhall became the first UK manufacturer to receive the Energy Efficiency Accreditation Award in 2008, and in 2012 we were the first automotive company in the UK to be awarded the BS 25999 accreditation.
