VXR Racing
VXRacing was the most successful team of the modern BTCC (British Touring Car Championship) era. Its record-breaking achievements included Triple Champions 2001-2004 and 2008. And VXRacing clocked up twice as many fastest laps as its nearest competitor. The numbers kept on coming: 119 race wins; 21 titles; 368 podiums; 110 fastest laps.
VXR took the experience, knowledge and passion gained from racing and crystallised a range of high performance road cars. Where driver and car worked in perfect harmony. Corsa and GTC VXRacing Edition
VXRacing's extraordinary success was fittingly celebrated on the road with a strong visual presence. Each VXRacing edition was available in red only, with black alloy wheels, black detailing inside and out, and those body hugging black leather Recaro seats. The effect quickened your heart beat.
Corsa VXRacing Edition
A brilliantly balanced combination of 192PS and up to 260Nm of low-end torque pushed this Corsa from 0-60mph in 6.8 seconds. Its striking looks were like no other Corsa VXR - Flame Red paint, black V-spoke alloys, black door mirrors plus a black rear roof spoiler and black rear diffuser on the outside. Leather-trimmed, 'shell-backed' Recaro front seats and unique VXRacing detailing on the inside. A driver’s dream.
GTC VXRacing Edition
There was no other GTC VXR like it. Black 19-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels, black rear roof spoiler, rear bumper inserts and dark-tinted rear glass all contributed to its stunning good looks. All matched by its engineering brilliance. Think 240PS and 320Nm with 0-60mph in 6.2 seconds. Think 2.0i 16v Turbo, six-speed gearbox and the low, flat ride of a genuine performance car. Inside there was lots to like. Including leather-trimmed Recaro sports front seats and specific VXRacing interior detailing. In every way, this was a car perfectly equipped to lead the celebrations around VXRacing.
