The Company Car Today CCT100 Awards recognise the best cars for fleet users, with the category winners chosen from the CCT100, a rundown of the 100 vehicles to meet any fleet requirement, decided using 13 criteria and with input from the highly experienced Company Car Today judging panel. The winners were announced in the January awards issue of the magazine.

Paul Barker, Editor, Company Car Today, said: “The Insignia continues to be a sensible and appealing choice for high-mileage company car drivers, and is now a five-time CCT100 winner.

“The car’s combination of great value, equipment, space, comfort and looks that are as stylish now as when the latest-generation car first launched mean it’s worth Upper Medium Car of the Year champion once again.”

With up to 61.4mpg and CO2 emissions as low as 124g/km, the Insignia is an ideal choice for fleet operators looking for an efficient and economical vehicle. The Insignia’s driving dynamics, design and high levels of equipment across the range were also highlighted.

Paul Willcox, Managing Director, Vauxhall, said: “We would like to thank Company Car Today for awarding the Vauxhall Insignia its ‘Upper Medium Car of the Year’ for the fifth year running. Since its launch, the Insignia has proven extremely popular among fleets, company car drivers and family buyers, thanks to its low running costs, high levels of standard specification and elegant styling.”
