1.2 Entrants must be 18 years of age or over and a UK resident (excluding Northern Ireland and the Channel Island), to enter the Competition. The Company employees, their immediate family members, agents or anyone professionally connected with this Promotion are excluded from the Competition.

 

1.3 The winner must have and must show a valid UK driving licence and a DVLA code for the Company to check validity of the winner’s UK driving licence: View or share your driving licence information - GOV.UK. The winner must have no more than 6 points on their licence to be eligible to win. The winner must provide three (3) weekend dates that you would like to have the car loan, for Vauxhall to check availability.

 

1.4 The online competition "Win a car for a weekend with Vauxhall" (the 'Competition') is offered by the British Olympic Association, (‘the Company') whose registered address is: 101 New Cavendish St, London W1W 6XH. The prize will be provided by Vauxhall Motors Limited (“Vauxhall”), who are the delivery partner for the Company for the Competition.

 

1.5 Only one entry per person is permitted and subsequent or multiple entries shall not be valid. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted, and joint submissions are not allowed. The winner shall be the named respondent on the randomly selected winning submission. Competition entries that are automatically generated by computer, completed by third parties or in bulk will not be accepted.

 

1.6 Competition Period: Entries for the contest will be accepted until the time outlined on our competition page.

 

1.7 The purpose of the Competition is to select one winner that will receive a 72-hour test drive of the Vauxhall Grandland AWD, with third party insurance cover included. Delivery and collection will be arranged by Vauxhall, to a location agreed between

 

Vauxhall and the winner with at least 75% electric charge. The winner will ensure the car is charged up to at least 50% electric charge on collection. There is no cash alternative.

 

1.8 The Company and any third parties involved with the delivery of the prize reserve the right to apply alterations to the prize details where necessary.

 

1.9 The Company and any third parties involved with the delivery of the prize accept no responsibility for any costs associated with the prize that are not expressly included in clause 1.6 above.

 

1.10 To enter the competition: no purchase is necessary; however, internet access and access to the Team GB app (the ‘Site’) are required.

 

1.11 The prize winner will be chosen at random (by a computer process that produces verifiably random results) and contacted by a representative from the Company via the email address/telephone number provided on entry within 48 hours of the competition closing date, which will be listed on our competition page.

 

1.12 In order to receive the prize, the winner must respond within 48 hours of initial contact.

 

1.13 If the prize winner fails to respond within 48 hours of notification, the prize will be forfeited, and an alternative prize winner(s) will be contacted.

 

1.14 Proof of submission shall not be proof of receipt. Entries that are incomplete, incorrectly filled in, illegal, illegible, in the incorrect format or fraudulent or those not received in accordance with these Terms and Conditions shall be deemed invalid and not accepted. The Company does not accept any responsibility for technical failures which prevent an entrant from submitting an entry and no responsibility will be accepted by the Company for entries lost, corrupted or delayed in transmission.

 

1.15 The prize is non-transferable, non-negotiable and no cash alternatives will be offered.

 

1.16 The Company reserves the right to modify, cancel, extend or discontinue the competition rules or any part thereof at any time without prior notification.

 

1.17 The Company accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of entering the Competition or accepting the prize.

 

1.18 The Company further disclaims any liability for any injury or damage to the individuals associated with this prize save for where (i) death or personal injury is caused by negligence; (ii) such liability arises from fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or (iii) for any other reason or by any cause which cannot be excluded by law.

 

1.19 The Company will not take any responsibility for an individual’s behaviour and any consequences associated with an individual’s actions during the period of the prize.

 

1.20 The Company shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations relating to this prize where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, the COVID-19 pandemic or connected events, weather conditions, fire, flood, strike, industrial dispute, inevitable accidents, supervening legislation or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure.

 

1.21 By entering this Competition, you will be given the opportunity to opt-in to receive information and offers from the Company. If you do opt-in to such communications, you will be given the opportunity to unsubscribe at any time.

 

1.22By entering the Competition the prize winner gives consent for their name, contact number and address to be passed to any necessary third-party providers (including but not limited to Vauxhall Motors Limited) for delivery of the prize. Save for the exception above and unless you have opted-in to receive future marketing communications from the Company, your personal data will not be passed to any third party unless required to do so by law or an appropriate regulatory authority.

 

1.23 By entering the Competition, entrants are sending their personal information to the Company who will at all times process an entrant’s personal data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.

 

1.24 The Company’s decision is final in every situation and binding on the entrants. No correspondence will be entered into.

 

1.25 If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these Terms and Conditions, the Company may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the Competition.

 

1.26 The Company reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the Competition where it becomes necessary to do so.

 

1.27 The Company must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Company will send the surname and county of residence of the winner to anyone who emails or writes to (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within one month after the closing date of the Competition. The winner can object to any or all of your surname or county of residence being published or made available by contacting the Company. In such circumstances, the Company must still provide the information to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.

 

1.28 These Terms and Conditions will be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

 

1.29 The Company will assume (and by entering the Competition the Entrant will warrant that) that any Entrant shall have legal capacity to enter into the agreement set out in these Terms and Conditions (i.e. that each Entrant is of sufficient age and mental capacity and are otherwise entitled to be legally bound in contract).

 

1.30 The winner will be required to read and sign a vehicle disclaimer document, which outlines the driving laws in the UK and their confirmation that they will abide by them. The winner shall indemnify Vauxhall Motors Limited against, and shall be responsible for, all speeding/parking fines, penalties, motoring offences and congestion charges incurred by the winner whilst driving during the short-term loan of the Grandland AWD.
