It’s Vauxhall’s mobile app designed for Grandland Electric to give you control, convenience, and insight – all from your smartphone.

Is the app free to use?

Yes, the app is free to download and use.

How often is the app updated?

The app is regularly updated to improve performance and introduce new features.

How do you troubleshoot the app?

Log out and back into the app. If the error persists, delete and reinstall the app.

What is a VIN?

Also known as the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), this is a unique code assigned to each vehicle. You can find it on your V5 registration documents, or on the bottom corner of your windscreen, near where the windscreen wipers rest.

What is the purpose of the nickname for my car? (Needs confirmation)

Allows you to manage a multi-car household through a single app.

Is MyVauxhall 2.0 App available on all models?

The app is currently only available for the new Grandland Electric. It will be rolled out to all models by the end of 2026.

You can get it from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).

Do I need a MYVauxhall account?

Yes – to access all features, you’ll need to sign in or create a MYVauxhall account.

 

What is the trusted number?

While completing the association procedure you will be asked to add a trusted phone number (your phone number). Whenever an action
requiring a security check happens, this number will receive an SMS containing an access code.

 

How can I change my trusted number?

Make sure your phone is connected to the internet, then:

 

  • Open the MyVauxhall app and select the correct vehicle (if you have more than one).
 
  • Tap the user icon (top right), then tap your name.
 
  • Under "Secure Account", update your trusted number.
 
  • You’ll receive an SMS code on your old number to confirm the change.

I don’t have access to my old trusted number. What can I do?

You can only update your trusted number without SMS verification if:

 

  • You previously registered your smartphone (step 2 of the setup process)

     

  • You still have that same smartphone

     

  • You haven’t uninstalled the MyVauxhall app

     

If all these apply, follow the steps in the previous section—the change will happen automatically.

 

If not, you’ll need to create a new account using a new email and re-subscribe to services with your new phone number

Can I control my vehicle remotely?

Yes – features include remote locking/unlocking, starting charging, climate control scheduling, and more. 

Does the app include navigation features?

Yes, you can find and route to nearby dealers, parking, fuel stations, and EV charging points.

What vehicle info can I see?

The app displays battery/fuel levels, mileage, service schedules, and pending tasks – all from the home dashboard.

Does the app allow me to set the temperature for the remote pre-conditioning?

Yes, you can set your preferred target temperature and schedule different events based on climate, day, and time.

Can I track my mileage for business?

Yes, you can track the total distance and duration of your journeys to help report business mileage. You can also categorise trips as personal or business within the app, making it easy to differentiate between the two.

What if I need help using the app?

 You can contact Vauxhall support directly from the app.

How do I track my energy costs?

You can view trip statistics and add energy costs manually for a full overview of your driving expenses.
