Private retail customers who order a new Vauxhall electric passenger car from a participating retailer are entitled to choose one of the following at the time of placing an order:
(A) £500 contribution towards a 7kW Ohme ePOD EV charger or a 7kW Ohme Home Pro (tethered) EV charger;
(B) £500 public charging credit via Octopus Electroverse; or
(C) £500 public charging credit for Tesco Pod Point charging
(the “Offer”).
The Offer is subject to the following Terms and Conditions between the you and Vauxhall Motors Limited (“Vauxhall”).
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
By ordering a new Vauxhall electric passenger car from a participating retailer in the UK, you confirm your acceptance of, and agreement to, these Terms and Conditions.
1. Offer available on new Vauxhall electric passenger cars (excluding pre-registered or contract hire vehicles).
2. Offer available at participating retailers only. Arnold Clark sites are not participating retailers.
3. Offer applies to private individuals (18+) and Vauxhall Partners only.
4. Offer applies to orders made between 3rd October 2024 and 8th January 2025.
5. Only one £500 contribution or credit per vehicle shall be provided.
6. The £500 contribution or credit includes VAT.
7. To receive the Offer, you must be a UK resident.
8. This Offer may be used in conjunction with the Tesco Clubcard offer at https://www.vauxhall.co.uk/electric/tesco/tesco-clubcard.html for as long as such offer applies but cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers provided by Vauxhall Motors Limited.
9. Your personal data will be handled in accordance with Vauxhall’s privacy policy, which is available to view at https://www.vauxhall.co.uk/tools/privacy-policy.html.
10. If you exercise your right to cancel or withdraw your order, you will no longer be entitled to the Offer. If you have already received the Offer by the date on which you cancel or withdraw, Vauxhall will be entitled to full repayment of the £500 contribution or credit provided to you under this Offer.
11. Vauxhall reserves the right to change, amend or withdraw this Offer at any point in time. Information is correct at time of publication.
12. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach by you of these terms, Vauxhall may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in this Offer.
13. Neither Vauxhall or its affiliates, agents, officers, or employees will be liable (to the extent permitted by law) for any loss or damage arising out of organising or holding this Offer or as a result of your participation in it, participation in any of the activities or as a result of the collecting or enjoying the vehicle, the EV charger, or the £500 public charging credit. This paragraph does not seek to exclude the liability of any party listed in this paragraph for (a) death or personal injury caused by their negligence, (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and/or (c) any other matter for which it would be unlawful for them to exclude or attempt to exclude their liability. Your statutory rights are not affected.
14. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The parties irrevocably agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to deal with any dispute or claim that arises out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions and the Offer.
A. £500 Contribution To Ohme EV Charger
15. If you choose to receive the £500 contribution to an Ohme EV Charger (the “Ohme Promotion”), the participating retailer will provide you with a £500 contribution towards the purchase of either (a) 7kW Ohme ePOD EV charger or (b) 7kW Ohme Home Pro EV charger installed by Octopus Energy Ltd (“Octopus Energy”), powered by Free2move eSolutions.
16. The participating retailer will refer you to the Octopus Portal from which you can purchase the relevant charger. The participating retailer will transfer the £500 contribution directly to Octopus Energy, such that the purchase price of the charger will be automatically reduced, and you will only be required to pay the remaining balance.
17. Northern Ireland, Channel Islands and Isle of Man excluded.
18. In order to benefit from the Ohme Promotion you must:
18.1. Order the relevant EV charger within 3 months of ordering the passenger car.
18.2. Have designated private off-street parking belonging to you that can be accessed at all times.
18.3. Ensure that your utility supplier/provider is able to support installation and running of the EV charger, prior to its installation.
18.4. Qualify for a standard installation as defined by Octopus Energy. If you are not eligible for standard installation you may be liable for installation charges. Eligibility for standard installation will depend upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, geographical location.
19. Ohme Operations UK Limited (“Ohme”) and Octopus Energy are the third-party suppliers and installers of the EV chargers and you agree to their terms and conditions (available at https://ohme-ev.com/terms-and-conditions/ and https://octopus.energy/policies/) and their privacy policies (available at https://ohme-ev.com/privacy-policy/ and https://octopus.energy/policies/privacy-policy/).
20. It is your responsibility to ensure all required third party permissions are sought in relation to the installation of the EV charger at your address.
21. Vauxhall will not be liable for any costs resulting from the installation or use of the EV charger, including but not limited to the maintenance and repair of the EV charger and associated running costs.
B. £500 Public Charging Credit Via Octopus Electroverse
22. If you choose to receive the £500 public charging credit via Octopus Electroverse, a unique one-time credit code will be supplied to you on delivery of your passenger car by the supplying participating retailer. The credit will be applied within 7 working days once you have activated your ‘Electrocard’ in-app and input your one-time credit code.
23. Electroverse is a product supplied by Octopus Energy and not Vauxhall. You are responsible for setting up an Electroverse account with Octopus Energy via the Electroverse mobile application or at https://electroverse.octopus.energy/ in order to access the £500 credit.
24. Northern Ireland, Channel Islands and Isle of Man excluded.
25. Credit must be activated within 3 months of first registration of the passenger car.
26. Pricing for each network and each specific charging point is displayed in the Octopus Electroverse app.
27. The credit can only be applied to one user account. Once it is has been applied, it cannot be undone.
28. If you close your Electroverse account after activating the credit, any outstanding balance will be lost.
29. You are responsible for any charges incurred on you Electroverse account above the credited amount.
30. You may be required to have compatible smartphone with an internet connection or mobile data for charging purposes. The terms and conditions agreed between you and your telecommunications provider will apply to the use of the phone / mobile data connection (charges may apply).
31. There is no cash alternative to the £500 credit, via Octopus Electroverse. The credit supplied by Vauxhall is non-transferable and non-negotiable.
32. Octopus Energy is a third-party supplier and you agree to its terms and conditions (available at https://octopus.energy/policies/) and privacy policy (available at https://octopus.energy/policies/privacy-policy/).
33. If the £500 credit via Octopus Electroverse is unavailable, cancelled or suspended due to circumstances beyond Vauxhall’s control, Vauxhall is under no obligation to offer an alternative and will not owe any further liability to you.
34. You will not be entitled to any monetary equivalent or compensation for costs or expenses incurred or suffered in connection with taking up the £500 credit via Octopus Electroverse.
C. £500 Public Charging Credit for Tesco Pod Point charging
35. If you choose to receive the £500 public charging credit for Tesco Pod Point charging, a fixed sum of £500 shall be credited to you by the supplying participating retailer by way of:
35.1. a cash transfer from the participating retailer to your bank account; or
35.2. a deduction from any outstanding amount on the purchase price of your car.
36. By choosing to receive £500 public charging credit for Tesco Pod Point charging, you agree to use the credit for its intended purpose.
37. Pod Point is not operated by Vauxhall. You are responsible for setting up any accounts necessary to access the Pod Point charging network.
38.
